Motivating Mindfulness in Thailand

Dear friends,

I hope this email finds you well.

I’m writing this newsletter during my latest trip to Thailand, which has so far been very eventful and promising with some fantastic developments over the past few weeks that will help expand the reach of our Innocent Perception mission to promote peace through meditation and mindfulness in Thailand.

I hope you realise my son, Colin, has managed my newsletter since we rebranded the website from bmsbh to Innocent Perception. Colin also takes care of all my social media outlets and the newsletter. I no longer send emails to you in my usual way like before. I also lost nearly all of my friends’ contacts on WhatsApp during phone changing 4 weeks ago, and I prayed for my friends to write to me first to reclaim the contacts.

Mobile Massage & Meditation Service Launched

Massage and meditation at the Innocent Perception Centre Thailand

Just to let you know that I’ve been busy with my work here in Thailand, so many new projects to implement for our Innocent Perception Centre. Massage and Meditation starts to take off as we have now launched our Mobile Massage & Meditation service. We have a booking from one hotel wanting us to give the M&M service to their 30 staff members. We only have a few qualified M&M therapists, so I’ll be disguising myself acting as one of the M&M therapists on the day. Thai people will never allow ‘a spiritual teacher’ to touch their feet, let alone massage for them. It will be fun for me.

Promoting Mindfulness & Meditation in Mainstream TV

Another exciting news is that I was invited for the 2nd time to be interviewed on Thailand’s Channel 9 TV talk show, ‘Joh-Jai (piercing the heart)‘, which has been running for more than 20 years since 1991 and hosted by celebrity presenter Sanya Kunakorn. I promised my friend, Chris, from the US, that I would wear the outfit he gave me as a gift when we met in Hampshire back in August.

Ready for the TV interview in the dress gifted by fashion designers Chris and Yamini.

This dress was chosen for me by Chris and Yamini, the fashion artist, who worked in this shop selling only ‘unique dresses’ in Hampshire as I don’t have a clue how to dress myself. It was quite interesting that the young man at the studio immediately recognized that this purple dress was the fashion from the 60’s and the style was similar to what Jackie Kennedy wore at the time!

Meditation Teaching Thailand – Mindfulness Teaching in Phuket

My trip to Thailand has brought me to the south of the country to teaching mindfulness and meditation in Phuket. One stop was the The Young Buddhist Association for meditation teaching on 15th October. We had a very productive and enlightening day of mindfulness and meditation discussions and during the lunch break we offered our Massage & Meditation service.

It’s coming towards the end of the rainy season and is getting hotter towards the year end but by then I’ll be back home to celebrate Christmas with my family in Brum.

Find Your Sanctuary in the Storm

I hope very much that you all are well, still keep up with your BMSBH practice and often experience your inner bliss. The world gets crazier by days, and we do need to find the eye of the storm as our mental and spiritual sanctuary.

Sending you good vibes from beautiful Phuket.

Love,

Supawan Green
