Formula For World Peace in Florence

FLORENCE, ITALY: Thai Buddhist monk and UNHCR Patron Venerable Phramedhivajirodom (V.Vajiramedhi) is on a humanitarian mission this month to promote world peace and compassion in Florence, where he is scheduled to meet with Pope Francis and distribute 10,000 postcards depicting the Formula For World Peace devised by Supawan Green.

The Venerable Vajiramedhi was appointed in 2018 as one of the first two patrons of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to promote peace and compassion towards refugees and humanitarian crises. Since then, V. Vajiramedhi has helped provide shelter to two million refugees worldwide under UNHCR’s global Nobody Left Outside campaign.

World Peace

In his latest drive to strengthen ties between Buddhism and humanitarian missions, UNHCR patron V. Vajiramedhi is hosting a meeting among spiritual leaders to promote world peace at the Piazza della Signoria square in Florence, Italy on 14th June.

V. Vajiramedhi is leading a Walk for World Peace around the square. and handing out mementos to the public, including 10,000 World Peace Postcards printed by The Innocent Perception Foundation with a message of peace and depicting the Formula for World Peace devised by the foundation’s founder, Supawan Green.

A Message of Peace Shared With The Pope

It is hoped that the message and Formula for World Peace on the postcards is handed to Pops Francis during the event led by V. Vajiramedhi.
