We raise funds for two main reasons.
1. Helping people in need
The Innocent Perception Foundation is a charitable organization that empowers poverty-stricken families and individuals with financial help in times of need, made possible by fundraising events and contributions to the foundation’s Piggy Bank Project (see below).
2. Running The Meditation Centre
The Innocent Perception Centre building was opened in 2021 as a community centre for hosting meditation gatherings, workshops and reteats, mindfulness teaching and practicing. The centre is run by a handful of key staff and volunteers overseeing all aspects of the Innocent Perception Foundation’s operations.
Founding Donors
Building and opening the Innocent Perception Meditation & Retreat Centre was a monumental step forward in our mission to establish a headquarters in Thailand for our charitable endeavors as well as providing a place for teaching and practicing spiritual development with space and facilities for a wide range of activities to support the local community.
Construction of the Innocent Perception Centre was made possible by generous donors who contributed considerable sums and land for the centre’s facilities. Find out more about those donors.
How We Raise Funds
Here are some of the ways we raise funds:
Meditation classes and courses
We run weekly group meditation classes at the Innocent Perception Centre for which participants are asked to make a small donation as long as it is within their means.
Book sales
Founder and spiritual life coach Supawan Green has published more than 40 spiritual guidance books in Thai and English languages. The books are available as downloadable e-books (pdf) and as hardcopies from our online bookstore.
Piggy Bank Project Donations
Our Piggy Bank Project has helped lift hundreds of individuals and families out of poverty. Many impoverished people live in and around Bangkok and our volunteers are always on the lookout for people in need of a helping hand. We help by highlighting their plight donations either on an ad-hoc or case-by-case basis
Fundraising Events
From time to time we hold fundraising events at the Innocent Perception Centre with activities such as auctions of unique donated collectables. See our blog page for upocoming fundraising activities.
