Mindfullness for Children

Giving children a foundation in mindfullness

There’s fun and games to be had at the innocent perception meditation centre with activities to stimulate young minds and develop concentration with entertaining activities such as baking, arts and crafts, sewing and other creative tasks.

The mindfullness sessions for children are run under expert guidance by diverse volunteers during school holidays and in tandem with adult mindfulness and meditation retreats so participants can bring their children and have peace of mind they’ll be engaged with fun learning activities.

Chef Pim teaches children art techniques for creative baking.

The first Mindfullness for Children event was held on Saturday morning on 21st September and was a great success with the participants learning cake pop decorating with expert guidance from Chef Pim.

We aim to help the children develop a foundation of mental and physical life skills that will help them handle hurdles in later life. We know young minds don’t stay focused for long and need plenty of variety to keep them keen.
